Seven seek District Court judgeship

Bismarck, North Dakota: Seven attorneys have applied for an open seat on the East Central Judicial District. Lisa Fair McEvers, Constance Cleveland, Susan Bailey, Nancy Morris, Maureen Holman, DeAnn Pladson and Jason Hastings are looking to replace the retiring Judge Georgia Dawson. A judicial screening committee will make recommendations to the Governor, who will appoint a new judge or call for an election.[1]
