I was born and raised in the 21st Council District that I would serve in. I am a wife of a 16 year army veteran trained surgical technologist. We have two daughters and two sons between us. With over two decades of experience in community development, business development, program execution, and media relations, I bring a wealth of expertise and commitment to the community. Professionally I have spent the past eight years leading community outreach for the $8B redevelopment of LaGuardia Airport where I’ve pioneered initiatives that directly benefit the surrounding communities of LaGuardia Airport, Corona and East Elmhurst. Noteworthy accomplishments include launching the LaGuardia Career Center at Elmcor, establishing the LaGuardia Redevelopment Opportunity Scholarship that thus far has granted 12 scholarships to students from East Elmhurst and Corona, and initiating the STEM Summer Camp in partnership with Langston Hughes Library and Cultural Center, East Elmhurst Library and Astoria Library. Additionally, I spearheaded the curation of art exhibits in the landmarked Marine Air Terminal, enriching the airport's cultural landscape. A proud lifelong resident of Corona/East Elmhurst I have contributed leadership to numerous local boards, including the New York City Industrial Development Agency, Build NYC Resource Corporation, Kiwanis Club of LaGuardia Airport, Elmcor Youth & Adult Activities, Inc., Neighborhood Housing Services of Queens CDC, and more
  • Public Safety- We can build safer, stronger communities through smart investments.
  • Affordable Housing - We need a fair and accessible housing system for Queens families.
  • Economic Development - We have to focus on empowering more workers to build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Public Safety, Economic Development, Affordable Housing, Land Use and Zoning Reform, and Education & Schools.
Dedication to their constituents and delivering services for the community.
Bringing thousands of jobs to residents in our community.
