  • I believe in championing every student so each student gets what the need. I will advocate for all students. I know every student is important. I have three kids in our schools, and they all learn in different ways. I want to make sure every student gets what they need to learn, grow, and be happy at schools.
  • It's critical to make smart money decisions. Spending should match district priorities while also planning for the future. I am a Certified Public Accountant and I want to help our school district make smart choices about how we spend money. This means buying what we need, saving for the future, and advocating for increased teacher pay to demonstrate the value they provide.
  • I know our Community is stronger when we are connected. Families need to be informed and there should be space to share ideas. Our school families should know what is happening in our schools. I want to make sure families feel important and can openly share their ideas and feedback. I will work hard to make sure teachers, staff, families, and students' voices are heard.
Funding is a critical area because the amount of money received impacts class size, teacher pay, and services within the district. It's important we stay very aware of current funding policy and changes that will impact this funding for the district to plan financially into the future.
