Shannon Hanson
Shannon Doyle Hanson was a 2016 Libertarian candidate for District 6 of the Montana House of Representatives. Hanson was removed from the ballot prior to the general election.[1]
Hanson was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 3 of the Montana State Senate.
Biography
Hanson owns a computer repair business, and served six years on the Whitefish school board.[2] He teaches social media part-time at Flathead Valley Community College.[3]

Hanson supported the Affordable Care Act and property tax reform.[3]

Elections for the Montana House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election was held on June 7, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was March 14, 2016.
Incumbent Carl Glimm defeated Lisa Morrow and Ian Wheeler in the Montana House of Representatives District 6 general election.[4][5]

Hanson ran in the 2012 election for Montana State Senate, District 3. Hanson ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and was defeated by Bruce Tutvedt in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[10][11]
