Sharon A.S. Illsley was a judge of the Alaska Third District District Court. She assumed office in 2007. She left office in 2019.
Illsley ran for re-election for judge of the Alaska Third District District Court. She won in the retention election on November 6, 2018.
Illsley was appointed on June 14, 2007, by Governor Sarah Palin.[1] Illsley was retained on November 4, 2014.[2]

Illsley was retained to the Third District Court with 62.9 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3]
2010
Illsley was retained to the district court in 2010.[4] The Alaska Judicial Council supported her retention.[5][6]

Education
Judge Illsley earned her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1979. She went on to earn her J.D. in 1981 from the University of Colorado School of Law.[7]
Career
Sharon worked with Keene, Munsinger & Stuckey as an associate attorney from 1982 to 1984. She worked for the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office from 1984 to 1990 when she began work with the State of Alaska Department of Law where she worked as a prosecutor until 1997.[7]
