She was appointed to the court on April 23, 2019, by Gov. Ron DeSantis to replace Andrea Teves Smith.[1]
Franklin was a judge for Polk County Court in Florida from 2015 to 2019.[2] She was appointed to the court by Republican Governor Rick Scott on May 22, 2015, to fill the vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Kelly P. Butz to the Tenth Circuit Court.[3]
Education
Franklin received her undergraduate degree from Troy State University and her J.D. from the Barry University College of Law.[3]
Career
From 2004 until her appointment to the Polk County Court in 2015, Franklin served as an assistant state attorney for the 10th Judicial Circuit.[3]
