I am not a professional politician. I am a member of our community who has watched and listened to the concerns and needs of those around me. I am a lifelong resident of Kansas City and a resident of Clay County for over 21 years and the majority of my family were Clay County Residents. I have some political background but have never entered a race for or served in public office but have experience valuable to serving in the position I am seeking. I have neither asked nor accepted donations or endorsement for this campaign. My own pocket is my campaign fund. I retired from my profession last year after opting to remain in the medical profession to be a part of our struggle with COVID. I now am able to commit to yet another ate a of helping our community move forward and I have much to bring to the table in experiences.
  • I hear and understand our concerns regarding infrastructure, law enforcement and health car not only as a member of our community but as a person who has been involved heavily in opportunities to see and understand where members of our community have difficulty in navigating the avenues to having those needs met.
  • We need responsible and adequate funding to meet those needs and to insure that when that funding is not adequate we will find responsible and successful avenues to insure that. Will happen and to have total transparency regarding that process.
  • I will work to the the best of my ability to help, along with fellow Commission members to insure this happens in an honest, responsible, ethical manner with transparency for our constituents and the intent of moving our County ahead to the betterment and enrichment of all of out citizens.
I am concerned with the Safety of our community regarding capabilities of law enforcement, the ability to have adequate and responsible health care and with insuring that we have adequate health standards in housing, food providers and infrastructure, all requiring adequate funding.
Honesty, Integrity. and the sincere desire to work to the enrichment and the betterment of his constituents
Honesty , Integrity, the experience in managing budgeting needs and communication with the members of my community regarding their concerns and the sincere desire to serve my community to enable us to move forward positively.
I believe the responsibilities are to provide responsible and adequate prudent funding for the needs of our community services, agencies, and commissions our county and to provide a responsible and achievable manner in which we can do that if we fall short. And we nerd to do this also in a transparent manner. In matters of changes to the community we have a responsibility to perform in a manner that will enable no negative impact on the community.
I ember listening to the war news on the radio at the end of WWw. I especially remembering the number of casualties. Next I remember was the Cuban Missile Crisis while I was attending the School of the Ozarks at Put. Lookout. The school was designated as the emergency center for all areas south of Springfield, Mo due to the fact that we were the only self sustaining facility south of Springfield. I remember how eerie it was to see Bagel Dam blacked out...
My first job was as a waitress at Woolworths lunch counter in downtown Kansas while I attended high school. I also managed the Hoagie bar, the hot dog stand up counter and the bakery. This is how I earned my money for school clothing.
