Four of the seven seats on the Nebo School District school board were up for general election on November 8, 2016. There was a primary election for the District 3 seat held on June 28, 2016. In District 1, Lisa Rowley defeated Eric Hazelet for the open seat. Incumbent K.L. Tischner did not run for re-election. District 3 incumbent Randy Boothe won re-election to his seat after defeating challenger Shauna Warnick in the general election and Layne Moody in the primary election. District 6 and 7 incumbents, Dean Rowley and Christine Riley, ran unopposed and won re-election to their seats.[1]
