Shawn Johnston
Shawn Johnston is a former Democratic member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 51 from 1995 to 2011. He served as vice chair and member of the Putnam Democratic Town Committee.
Biography
Johnston's professional experience includes working as a meter reader with Connecticut Light and Power.
Johnston is a member of Local 457 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union, Quinebaug Valley Community College Foundation, and is a coach with Thompson Youth Basketball, Woodstock Little League, and WPTP Junior Football League.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Johnston won re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives from Connecticut's 51st District. Johnston ran unopposed in the general election, and he received 9,150 votes.[2]
