I am a proud, single father of two amazing children grandfather of wonderful grandsons. A Montana native born and raised. I had to leave Montana for work after high school but was lucky enough to come back home in 2000 to raise my children in the hometown that I grew up in. I have owned my own business but now I work for Montana Glass since 2006 as a project manager.
  • We need to make affordable housing not only to rent but for first-time home buyers. The next generation deserves to be able to buy a home and have the pride of ownership in their own home
  • Urban renewal districts. We need to change the way these districts are siphoning off our tax dollars and strangling our city budget and school budgets.
  • We need to get people in need the help they deserve and need from substance abuse treatment and mental health treatment. Not just handing them out. Free meals and not really helping them
The budget and fiscal responsibility every dollar spent by this city from our tax dollar should be spent to benefit the entire city
I look up to my parents, I am a fan of Teddy Roosevelt and John F Kennedy
My Dad was a hard worker and would do anything he could to help someone, My Mother is a respected member of her community who gives back every day. Teddy and JFK were great leaders in my eyes
Character honesty integrity The desire to help and do the right thing
To run the city efficiently for the betterment of all Missoulians. To guide the government in a efficient manner to promote a better future
That I did what I could to leave my part of the world a better place
I remember when Ronald Reagan was shot I was 16, I remember when John Lennon was shot and when Mount st Helen's blew I was about to turn 15

Public speaking has always been an issue for me. I have always prefered to be the one in the background getting things done instead of out front talking about it
To lead by example, to be honest and open and engaging
The kindness and diversity of the people
Taxes and budget
Taxes have gone up 50% in the last 5 years. It's unsustainable. If the taxes go up 50% in the next 5 years, where is that going to leave us?
Working together for the common good, regardless of your disagreements about idealistic and political opinions we work for the people we all have the same job to do at the end of the day. We have to come together and do the right thing

Both are responsible for the safety and well-being of the city. We have to work together. I have the utmost respect for first responders and veterans.
The story that got me into running for Mayor was from an Elderly couple that had been in their house for forty years, retired and on a fixed income. They had contacted me to look at some windows that didn't work well and needed me to fix them so they could sell their home as they could no longer afford to pay the taxes and insurance!
Raising 2 wonderful kids is my biggest and proudest accomplishment
