I am 35 years old and a Marine veteran.
  • Government functions at its best at the lowest level possible. A strong local government is more capable to fit the needs of its residents than a large and bloated Federal government.
  • Reduce federal excise taxes. In theory, excise taxes are meant to persuade or deter citizens from purchasing certain products. However, all they do is take money out of the hands of citizens and adversely affect the poor and middle class.
  • The Affordable Care Act is increasing the cost of private health insurance. Section 9008 imposes an annual fee on branded prescription pharmaceutical manufacturers and importers. Section 9009 imposes an annual fee on medical device manufacturers and importers. Section 9010 imposes an annual fee on health insurance providers.

I am dedicated to ensuring the job is done and I will not back down from my beliefs.
As a member of the House of Representatives, you are responsible for ensuring that the voices of the people of your district are incorporated and represented in the policies proposed. You serve the people of your district, not your own personal beliefs. As a representative, your personal beliefs must be in line with the beliefs of the people you represent to ensure they have adequate representation.
My first job was working in a doctor's office filing patient's medical records. I had that job for about a year and was hired by another medical office doing the same thing. While with the company a worked as a file clerk, mail clerk, front desk receptionist, and technologist aid.

I think the greatest challenge will be to work together. Every citizen of the United States does not think, act, or feel the same but it appears that our current politicians fail to see that.
I believe two-year term lengths is appropriate for representatives.
I believe there should be term limits. I think an appropriate limit is around 12 years.
