Biography
Shea Stanfield was born in Belleville, Illinois. She obtained a bachelor's degree in 1973 and a master's degree in 1984, both from Arizona State University. Her professional experience includes teaching and counseling. She is affiliated with the Glasser Institute for Reality Therapy, the Sierra Club's Grand Canyon chapter, the Association of Montessori International, Retired National Education Association, Retired National Art Education Association, and a number of art and historical museums and environmental groups.[1]

I also taught multi-age classroom with a integrated thematic curriculum based on brain research learn. I finished out, the last third of my career as a school counselor and academic coach specializing in executive functions. During the 40 years I saw the growth of Special Education and English as a Second Language programs. As a result I completed certifications/endorsements allowing me to teach and counsel students levels 1-12 with special challenges.

-Understanding of history of the issue, what has come before, what worked and did not.
-Ability to communicate/educate others.
-Ability to compromise and understand that decisions are made for the whole, not the few.
