As one of six boys, Shea grew up on a dairy farm in a two bedroom house. He saw first hand the struggles of putting food on the table. Now as a successful business owner, former all conference collegiate baseball player and as someone has overcome perceived insurmountable odds. He has an unwavering mental fortitude, which he uses to mentor and counsel others who face life altering decisions.
  • Safety is the most fundamental and crucial duty of government. As it currently stands, our men and women in blue are woefully understaffed and overworked. It will be my honor to work hand in hand with local law enforcement and first responders to ensure they are properly trained and supported.
  • We the people are literally taxed to death and even after our passing. What do we have to show for it? I and my team will pursue the auditing of Cobb County budgets to cut waste and programs that are deemed inadequate. Incompetence spending of tax payer dollars must stop and I look forward to addressing this crucial community concern.
  • Public Health is a major strain on our entire community ecosystem. I will work with officials to assist in organizing programs that promote citizens to get active. We will be creative in incentivizing Cobb Countians to pursue personal health, which in turn alleviates several strains in the healthcare system.
This position carries an immense responsibility due to it being one voice for many. This leads to voting for or against policies that further the growth or stunt it in my community.
My savior is the only thing I look up to and follow. With that, there have been several influential people in my life that have helped form me into the man and leader I am today.
Life experiences have helped forge a mindset that doesn't allow for quitting. I feel having to endure so many life events has formed a leader who can stand for those who can't stand for themselves.
To truly serve the community. Ask questions about what concerns the people have, not use the office as a self serving platform.
A legacy of philanthropic endeavors that have created programs and opportunities for many that would not be able to do so on their own. It is my goal to create a global adaptive sport alliance that creates programs for athletes to compete on a world scale, not just every four years.
Earning a college scholarship to play baseball, upon graduating high school at the age of 18.
Working on the farm. Milking cattle, raising crops such as tobacco, corn, soybean, and hay. Also harvesting an annual garden, canning and freezing vegetables. From age 8 - 21. The farm is still in working order, now only beef cattle are raised.
It has always been my perspective that struggles and setbacks are all opportunities for growth and learning. After deciding to amputate my leg due to an auto accident. It was my duty to use gifts blessed by God to inspire, influence, and impact others. Also sharing my experience with those who face similar situations and mentor them through the process.
As the elected leader in District 37, its my duty to speak for the people and be their protector, to ensure they are heard, and hold others accountable for actions that hinder Cobb County and support those who are working to better the community.
No, I feel that those who have real world experience in the private sector and successes, are the most qualified for any political position. Public servants who have made a career living off the tax payer funded salaries are the cause of many problems every community faces.
Having had to make the hard decision and stand firm after doing so. Having created business's and jobs for others that allow them to provide for their families and loved ones.
Three college football fanatics, (Alabama, FSU, and Georgia) are climbing a mountain. Each are boasting how they are the biggest fan for their teams. To prove his allegiance the Bama supporter jumps off the mountain yelling "told you" on the way down. Then to prove his fandom, the Bulldog says watch this, and pushes the Seminole off.
This is of the utmost importance. The people are paying for the services, we as the government should be transparent and publish regularly, where those funds are going.
Yes, as we've seen over the past four years, elections have consequences. Election integrity should be at the forefront of every voters mind, no matter party affiliation.
