Sheldon Lee Watkins is a former criminal division District Judge of Jefferson County, Alabama.[1] He assumed office in April 2003 and was re-elected in 2010.[2]

Education

Judge Watkins received his undergraduate degree from Fort Hays University in 1967 and his law degree from Washburn University in 1973.[2]

Career

Judge Watkins was admitted to the practice of law on May 3, 1974.[3] Prior to becoming a judge, he worked in the Birmingham City Attorney's Office (for two years) and practiced law with William A. Robinson.[2]

2010 election

Watkins was re-elected after running unopposed.[4]
