Arizona: After nineteen years on the court, Sheldon Weisberg retired from the Arizona Court of Appeals. After his 1992 appointment, Weisberg was retained three times, in 1996, 2002 and 2008. He served on Division One of the court.[1]

In Arizona, appellate judges are appointed using the Commission-selection, political appointment method, leaving final selection for a new judge to Governor Jan Brewer.
