Shelia Johnson is a judge for the 46th District Court in Michigan.[1] She has served as a judge for the court since 2001.[2] Johnson was re-elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for another six-year term commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[3]

General: She was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [3] 

2012

Johnson was a candidate for a seat on the Michigan Supreme Court. She competed against Mindy Barry and incumbent Judge Brian Zahra on November 6, 2012. Johnson was defeated in the general election, receiving 41.72% of the vote.[4][5] Though the race is nonpartisan, Johnson was endorsed by the Democratic Party in March.[6]
