Shelley Parbs was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 38 of the Iowa State Senate.
Parbs is a production worker at Rockwell-Collins in Urbana, Iowa. She attended Mt. Mercy College, receiving a bachelor's degree in business administration.[1]

Parbs ran in the 2012 election for Iowa State Senate District 38. She defeated LaForest Sherman and Nicholas Volk in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012. Parbs was defeated by District 20 incumbent Tim Kapucian (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
