Shelley Rucker
Shelley Rucker was a bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of Tennessee. She was appointed on April 2, 2010, succeeding Judge R. Thomas Stinnett. Her term expired on April 1, 2024.[1][2][3]
Education
Rucker earned a bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University and a J.D. from the University of Georgia.[4]
Career
Before joining the court, Rucker practiced bankruptcy law for 27 years at Miller & Martin PLLC, where she previously served as practice leader of the firm's Bankruptcy Creditor Rights Group.[5] Rucker was a bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of Tennessee from 2010 to 2024.[6]
