Shelly Mulkey
Shelly A. Mulkey is a magistrate judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Chief Judge Robert E. Morin appointed Mulkey to the court October 31, 2016.[1]
Education
Mulkey received a B.A. in sociology from Tulane University. She obtained a J.D. from the American University, Washington College School of Law in 2001.[1]
Career
Mulkey previously worked as an assistant attorney general in the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. She was also an associate at the Law Offices of Alice Paré. Mulkey was a law clerk to the Hon. Eric M. Johnson of the Maryland Sixth Circuit.[1]
