Washington, D.C. held city council elections on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on April 1. Charles Allen defeated Joseph Slovinec, Darrel Thompson and Shelonda Tillman in the Democratic primary, while Pranav Badhwar was unopposed in the Libertarian primary.[1][2] Allen defeated Badhwar in the general election.[3]
