Biography
Grant received a bachelor's degree from Alabama State University and a J.D. from Louisiana State University. Her professional experience includes working as a deputy public defender in Jefferson County. She has also served on the Vestavia Hills Board of Education.[1]
Grant's twin sister, Shanta' Owens, is also a judge on the Jefferson County District Court. She joined the court in 2008.[1]
