|- I knew firsthand that the department was lacking in growth and leadership and feel that I have brought both to the men and women of the department. I have nearly 30 years as a licensed peace officer with Precinct 3 and I am the current Constable. I am certified in the following; Master Peace Officer, School Resource Officer, Marine Safety Enforcement Officer, Canine Officer-Drug Enforcement, and Law Enforcement Instructor. Among those certifications I am also a member of the Emergency Response Team and Texas Gang Investigation Association, and formerly a Detective with the Warrant Division and Patrol Watch Commander. Our accomplishments continue to grow and we are looking forward to achieving even more in the next term.
- We have made many changes when we took office in 2017. We took a top heavy department and reclassified supervisor positions to deputy positions to provide more patrol on the streets. We created senior citizens programs that check on the welfare of our seniors daily. We created a Crime Interdiction Unit to combat major and environmental crimes in the communities. We will continue to strive for excellence in the services we provide.
- Since I’ve been in office our mission is to serve the community with integrity, care, accountability and respect. My continued commitment is to assure that this mission is successfully carried out for years to come. We will continue to better ourselves so we can better serve the communities.
