Sherman W. Phipps
Sherman W. Phipps was a judge of District 5B of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in December of 2002. He was retained on November 2, 2010 to a six-year term which expired on December 31, 2016.[1][2][3]
Biography and Education
Phipps graduated from the University of Iowa in 1968 and went on to receive his law degree from Drake University Law School in 1973. He is now married and has four children.[1]
Career
Phipps worked as a private practice lawyer for 32 years.[1]
