Carr Bevis ran in the special election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 95. The seat was vacant following Jessica Upshaw's (R) death on March 24. Carr Bevis was defeated by Patricia H. Willis in the special election, which took place on May 28, 2013.[2][1][3]
