Sherri Cothrun
Sherri Cothrun was a 2014 candidate for the 311th District Court in Texas.[1]
She was previously the Democratic candidate for Texas District 246 in 2010.

Cothrun ran for election to the 311th District Court.
Primary: She ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 46.5 percent of the vote. She competed against Alicia Franklin.

Cothrun ran for election to Texas District 246. She was defeated by Jim York in the general election.[2] [3]
Education
Cothrun earned a B.A. in psychology and political science from New Mexico State University in 1997. She went on to receive her J.D. from the Pepperdine School of Law in 1981.[4][4]
Career
Cothrun is a founding partner of Cothrun & Lucido, a family law firm that was formed in 1997.[5] Prior to that, she had worked as a solo practitioner since 1983.[4]
