Sherri L. E. Tungate
Sherri L. E. Tungate is a judge of the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois. She was elected to this position in 2000 after having served as an associate judge on the court since 1994. She was retained in 2012 for a term set to expire in 2018.[1][2] Prior to her term expiration, Tungate retired in 2014.[3][4][5]
Education
Tungate received her B.A. degree from Stetson University in 1975 and her master's degree in public policy from Florida Technological University (now known as the University of Central Florida) in 1976. She earned her J.D. degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1979.[2]

Tungate was retained on Nov. 6, 2012, with 75.2% of the vote.[6][7]
