Sherrie Taha
Sherrie Taha was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 48 of the Iowa House of Representatives.
Taha was the Democratic nominee for Iowa State Secretary of Agriculture in the 2014 election.[1] Sherrie Taha lost the general election on November 4, 2014.
At the time of her candidacy, Taha was serving as the Soil-Water Conservation Commissioner for Polk County. She has worked as a teacher, businesswoman and artist.[1]

Taha ran for election to the office of Iowa Secretary of Agriculture in 2014.[1] She was unopposed for the Democratic nomination in the June 3 primary and faced Republican incumbent Bill Northey in the general election. New Independent Party candidate Levi Benning was also on the ballot. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
