Sherry Haley
Sherry Haley is a judge for the Fifth Judicial District in Minnesota. She was appointed on October 2, 2020 by Gov. Tim Walz (D) to replace Gordon Moore.[1] Haley was sworn into her role on the Fifth Judicial District Court on November 6, 2020. [2]
Education
Haley received her bachelor's degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to serving as a judge for the Fifth Judicial District, Haley served as the Jackson County Attorney. Prior to that, she served as an Assistant Jackson County Attorney, as well as clerking for the Dakota County Attorney’s Office and the Hennepin County Public Defender’s Office.[1]
