Sherry Simon was a candidate for Place 5 representative on the Keller Independent School District school board in Texas. Simon was defeated in the by-district general election on May 6, 2017.

Two of seven seats on the Keller Independent School District board of trustees were up for by-district general election on May 6, 2017. Place 4 incumbent Craig Allen withdrew from the race. Chris Roof defeated Peiman Montazeri for the Place 4 seat. The open Place 5 seat attracted four candidates: Beverly Dixon defeated Frank Arban, Candy Bruton, and Sherry Simon.[1]
