Sherwood Bauer, Jr.

Sherwood "Chip" Bauer, Jr. is a judge of the 19th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by former Governor Jeb Bush on May 2, 2005. He replaced retired Judge Dwight Geiger. He was elected in 2006 and re-elected in 2012. His current term expires in January of 2019.[1][2][3][4]
Education
Bauer received his undergraduate degree from Stetson University in 1985 and his J.D. degree from the Nova University School of Law in 1988.[5][6]
Career
Bauer began his career in 1988 as an assistant state attorney in the 19th Judicial Circuit. In 1993, he co-founded the Law Offices of Bauer and Twohey, P.A. He worked in that capacity until he was appointed to the circuit court in May of 2005.[6][7]
2012 election
Bauer was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[8]
