Sidney Mize
Sidney Carr Mize (1888-1965) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on January 30, 1937 to replace Edwin Ruthven Holmes. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 2nd, and received his commission February 3rd. From 1961 to 1962, he was the chief judge. He served until his death on April 26, 1965.[1]
