Signature requirements and deadlines for 2015 state government elections
The signature filing deadline is the date by which candidates or citizens must file nominating signatures with election officials in order to have their name or initiative placed on the ballot.
The required number of signatures, and the dates by which they are due to state election officials, vary by state. Information on requirements for ballot measures, state executives and state legislatures can be found below.
