Felder (Democratic Party, Conservative Party, Law & Order Party) is running for re-election to the New York City Council to represent District 44. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 4, 2025. The Democratic and Conservative Party primaries for this office on June 24, 2025, were canceled.
Felder (Simcha Party) also ran in a special election to the New York City Council to represent District 44. He won in the special general election on March 25, 2025.
Biography
Simcha Felder was born in and lives in New York. Felder earned an M.B.A. from CUNY’s Baruch College. His career experience includes working as a certified public accountant, professor of management at Touro College and CUNY’S Brooklyn College, deputy comptroller for budget, accounting, administration and information technology in the New York City comptroller’s office, and as a tax auditor for the New York City department of finance.[1]
