Campaign themes
2012
Alvarado stated the following about his political philosophy in a biographical submission to Ballotpedia:[2]
"Americans expect their elected representatives to run their government in a manner that preserves our rights and freedoms, legislate in a manner that keeps our economy strong and our nation safe, and I hope to never deliver less than what is expected. When those elected to serve the people do not deliver and they have consistently failed to do so over many years, it is time to consider term limits as a way to dismiss them for their failure to deliver."
