Simon Grubin was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 36 of the New Jersey State Senate. Grubin withdrew from the race on April 18, 2011, citing "GOP party unity and personal reasons" as the reason for his withdrawal.[1]

Grubin was running in the 2011 election for New Jersey Senate District 36. He was running against Republican candidate Donald DiOrio for the primary on June 7, 2011. Democratic incumbent Paul Sarlo is running unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 8, 2011.[2]
