Simon Rifkind
Simon Hirsch Rifkind (1901-1995) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Rifkind was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on April 25, 1941, to a seat vacated by Robert Porter Patterson, Sr.; he was confirmed by the Senate on June 3, 1941, and received commission on June 6th. He resigned on May 24, 1950.[1] Rifkind was succeeded in this position by Edward Weinfeld.
