Simon E. Sobeloff (1894-1973) was a federal judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.[1]

Sobeloff was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on January 12, 1956, to a seat vacated by Morris Ames Soper; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 16, 1956, and received commission two days later. He served as chief judge from 1958-1964. He assumed senior status on December 31, 1970, and served in that capacity until his death on July 11, 1973.[1]
