Simone Marstiller
Simone Marstiller was a judge on the First District Court of Appeal in Florida. She was appointed to this position by Governor Charlie Crist on January 27, 2010, to fill the vacancy created by Judge Edward Barfield's retirement.[1] She was retained by voters in 2012.[2]
On October 20, 2015, Marstiller announced she was leaving the court. She retired in December 2015[3][4][5]
Education
Marstiller was born in Monrovia, Liberia, but grew up in St. Petersburg, Fla. She holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Stetson University and a J.D. from the Stetson College of Law.[6]

Mastiller was retained to the First District Court on Nov. 6, 2012, with 61.7 percent of the vote.[7][2][8]
