Single voting system
A single voting system is a multi-winner system in which each elector has one vote regardless of the number of open seats. The candidates with the most votes win. For example, if there are three open seats, the three candidates with the greatest number of votes will win the election, and each elector votes for only one candidate. This system contrasts with a block voting system, in which a vote can select as many candidates as there are open seats.[1]
