Recall supporter arguments
Michelle Williams, founder of the Sisters Academy of Fine Arts, led the recall campaign. The recall petition gave four reasons for the recall:
“ | Poor financial management, acting outside the scope of their duties, not looking after the best interests of our children, and not looking after the best interests of our schools.[2] | ” |
Williams was also reported to be upset with the board because of the decision the board made to close the Sisters Academy of Fine Arts when enrollment fell below 25 students.[3]
