Campaign themes

2014

Abeyta's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[1]

  • Excerpt: "Sisto wants to serve as the next state representative from District 10 because he believes his time as an activist in our community has provided him the skills as the best candidate to move our community forward and begin a fresh start with new ideas that emerge from our communities’ values. Sisto understands whether you live in San Jose, Kirtland Addition, Pajarito, Los Padillas, Siesta Hills, South International District or Mesa Del Sol that we have an extremely diverse community which has many unmet needs ranging from depleted infrastructure to deficiencies in adequate funding for educational programs which will assure our children’s success. Sisto will use his knowledge and experiences to carry messages of our communities to Santa Fe, he will stand with his fellow Democrats to support legislation that improves our quality of life, including developing a world class education for our children."
