Six nominees seek Utah Supreme Court appointment

Salt Lake City, Utah: The Utah Supreme Court Nominating Commission has chosen six nominees for a Supreme Court vacancy: Judge David M. Connors, of the 2nd Judicial District Court; Judge Royal I. Hansen, of the 3rd Judicial District Court; Judge David Mortensen, of the 4th Judicial District Court; Judge Carolyn B. McHugh, of the Utah Court of Appeals; and Thomas R. Lee, a professor at Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark College of Law. The Governor will appoint one of them to replace the retired Justice Michael Wilkins.[1]
