Skavdahl to become federal magistrate

Casper, Wyoming: Judge Scott W. Skavdahl is resigning from the Wyoming Seventh District Court. After January 31, 2010, he will take a position as full-time magistrate judge of the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming. He has served on the District Court since 2003 and was previously a private practice lawyer in Casper.
The Judicial Nominating Commission will select three nominees to send to the Governor, who will appoint one of them as the new judge.[1]
