Smith McPherson
Smith McPherson (1848-1915) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa.
He was nominated by President William McKinley on April 3, 1900. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 7, 1900, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on January 17, 1915. McPherson was succeeded in this position by Martin Joseph Wade.
