  • **Public Safety:** Implementing anti-crime measures to protect families and business owners, prioritizing public safety within the community.
  • **Cost of Living:** Addressing the high cost of living by reducing taxes and regulations, aiming to make essential goods more affordable for Californians.

I’m personally passionate about the homelessness crisis in our city and state. I live in Southwest Fresno where the homeless population is the worse. These people need help and we have the funds to do it. We just don’t have elected officials who are willing to put in the work and do what is needed to help these vulnerable individuals. I will make sure this problem goes away and help these people reintegrate into society.
The first person I look up to is my father, he showed me the value of family, hard work, and fighting for what is right. He constantly put others first helping his family and loved ones. The second person I look up to is Jesus Christ, the way he lived his life and treated people who hated him. I think if everyone tries to live a life like Jesus the world would be a much more peaceful place.
Some books I would recommend to understand my policy would be:

The Holy Bible for understanding my sense of morality

Jordan Peterson “12 Rules for Life” to understand how I govern my life

Thomas Sowell “Basic Economics” to understand my economic views
Integrity: Elected officials should be honest, transparent, and uphold high ethical standards. Integrity builds trust among constituents and enhances the credibility of the political process.

Accountability: Elected officials are accountable to the people they represent. They should take responsibility for their actions, be open to scrutiny, and answer to their constituents.
Leadership: Effective leadership involves the ability to make tough decisions, inspire others, and guide the community or constituency toward a shared vision.
Public Service Orientation: Elected officials are meant to serve the public interest. A commitment to public service, rather than personal gain, is crucial for a representative democracy to function properly.
Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential for conveying ideas, listening to constituents, and fostering a sense of inclusivity. Elected officials need to articulate their positions clearly and engage in meaningful dialogue.
Empathy: Understanding and being empathetic to the needs and concerns of the diverse constituents they represent is important. Empathy helps elected officials make decisions that consider the well-being of their community.
Collaboration and Compromise: The political process often involves negotiation and compromise. Elected officials should be able to work collaboratively with others, even those with differing opinions, to achieve common goals.
Knowledge and Competence: A solid understanding of the issues facing the community, as well as the ability to analyze information and make informed decisions, is crucial for effective governance.
Accessibility: Elected officials should be accessible to their constituents, actively seeking feedback, and keeping the public informed about their activities.
Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, evolving public needs, and emerging challenges is important for effective governance.

Civic Engagement: Encouraging civic participation and involv
Some core responsibilities for State Assembly members would include

Legislation: State assembly members are responsible for proposing, debating, and voting on legislation. They work to address issues affecting their constituents and contribute to the development of laws and policies.

Representation: Assembly members represent their constituents in the legislative process. This involves understanding and advocating for the needs and concerns of the people who live in their district.

Constituent Services: State assembly members often provide assistance to constituents in dealing with state agencies, navigating government services, and addressing individual concerns. This may involve helping with issues related to healthcare, education, housing, and more.

Constituent Outreach: Assembly members engage with their constituents through town hall meetings, newsletters, and other means of communication to keep them informed about legislative activities and to gather feedback.
My first job was working with my uncle during the summer with his solar company. This is where I learned how to be a leader, a critical thinker, and a hard worker. I did this from 8th grade to 11th grade during school breaks. I always wanted to work so I could purchase equipment for the sports I played.
The ideal relationship between governor and state legislature should be strong, transparent, and honest.
The greatest challenge over the next decade for the state with be the problem of crime and the amount of business owners and businesses moving out of the state.
I don’t believe that that it is beneficial for state legislators to have previous experience in government or politcs. Often time individuals who have been in office for 10, 15, 20 years stop serving their constituents and start serving their big donors. Individuals who deal with the problems of a regular citizens understand the issues at hand better than those who have been in government their entire life.
Being able to have a relationship with other legislators is one of the most vital aspects in government. We must be able to sit down with individuals from either side of the aisle to get legislation passed to help our constituents. We must put our differences aside for the greater good.

Financial Transparency and Goverment Accountability is the most important concept in legislation. The citizens deserve to know what we are doing after all that is who we work for.
