A Somerset School District Bond Issue question approved on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in St. Croix County, which is in Wisconsin.
This measure authorized the Somerset School District to increase its debt by $7.95 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount in order to fund the construction of additions to and the renovation of the high school building and site as well was other replacement, remodeling and improvement projects in the district as outlined below in the text of the measure.[1]

| “ | Shall the School District of Somerset, St. Croix County, Wisconsin be authorized to issue pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes, general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $7,950,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of constructing additions to and remodeling and renovation projects at the high school building and site; replacement, remodeling and improvement projects
at the middle school; and acquiring equipment, furnishings and fixtures?[1][2] |

Explanatory statement
Below is the County given statement explaining this measure:
| “ | The referendum election ballot will ask District electors to vote "yes" or "no" on the referendum election question as set forth above.
A "yes" vote on the question is in favor of the Initial Resolution set forth above and is a vote to approve the borrowing of $7,950,000 by the School District of Somerset through the issuance of general obligation bonds for the purpose of paying the cost of constructing additions to and remodeling and renovation projects at the high school building and site; replacement, remodeling and improvement projects at the middle school; and acquiring equipment, furnishings and fixtures. A "no" vote on the question is opposed to the Initial Resolution set forth above and is a vote to deny the School District of Somerset the authority to borrow $7,950,000 through the issuance of general obligation bonds for the purpose of paying the cost of constructing additions to and remodeling and renovation projects at the high school building and site; replacement, remodeling and improvement projects at the middle school; and acquiring equipment, furnishings and fixtures. In the event a majority of the electors voting vote "Yes" on the question set forth above, the District will be authorized to undertake the school improvement program described above and borrow not in excess of $7,950,000 therefor; if a majority vote "No" on the question set forth above, the District will not be so authorized.[1][2] |
