What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Joni Tschetter (R)

I am passionate about supporting the kind of economic development that will create job opportunities, support education, and lower taxes. I love and cherish all life and am a believer in our Second Amendment.

Kadyn Wittman (D)

I am an active board member for several Sioux Falls area non-profits. Among these is Establishing Sustainable Connections (ESC), an organization committed to creating and sustaining partnerships within the Black community in addition to providing educational opportunities for the public. Over the past three years of serving on this board, I have helped to organize nearly a dozen educational opportunities within Sioux Falls and planned the annual Juneteenth Celebration. Through my work with The Transformation Project Advocacy Network (TPAN), I also strives to support and empower transgender youth, young adults, and their families while educating communities in SD and the surrounding region about gender identity and expression. During the past several legislative sessions, I have served as a point of contact on TPAN’s behalf and successfully organized multiple phone banks, and educated community members on their rights as constituents.
