South Dakota Judge Tim Tucker appointed presiding judge of Third Circuit

Pierre, South Dakota: South Dakota Chief Justice David Gilbertson recently appointed Circuit Judge Tim D. Tucker to the position of presiding judge of the Third Circuit of South Dakota. The position became available with the upcoming retirement of David R. Gienapp. Tucker joined the Third Circuit in 1987 and received his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1982.[1] The presiding judge handles administrative duties for the court.
