South Dakota man's death penalty case moves closer to execution

South Dakota: Continuing coverage on the death penalty case of Donald Moeller before the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit and South Dakota Supreme Court as last week a three judge panel of the Eighth Circuit affirmed the Supreme Court decision. U.S. District Court Judge Lawrence Piersol questioning the constitutional legality of death and the quality of the sodium thiopental that will be used for the lethal injection which was purchased from India earlier this year. The Attorney General of South Dakota has stated that he will soon ask for the court-ordered stay on Moeller's death sentence to be lifted and the sentence fulfilled.[1]
