A South Lane County Fire And Rescue District Operation Levy measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Lane County, which is in Oregon, where it was approved.
This measure authorized South Lane County Fire and Rescue District to levy a property tax with a rate of $.47 per $1,000 of assessed valuation for five years to fund operation costs of the District in order to maintain the current levels of EMS and fire services from its four fire stations. The estimated revenue from this tax is $768,053 in 2013-2014, $785,945 in 2014-2015, $809,523 in 2015-2016, $833,809 in 2016-2017, and $858,823 in 2017-2018.[1]
